It seems the ingame search engine won't let you search by series name. You can search by hull type (ranger, warrior, etc.) and by tech level of the hull (gravicore, mesostructural, etc.) So I normally do a series of searches like: "bromed hull ranger", "bromed hull pirate", "rogust hull ranger", "rogust hull pirate", then bookmark any good hits so I can see what my choices are when I'm done running searches.
What follows is my short list of race/type/series combinations. Type being pirate, ranger, etc.. The only combinations listed are ones that have all "support" slots (shield, gripper, droid, etc.) and at least 4 weapon slots. The percentile shown is a price modifier for the series. This is in addition to the price modifications caused by race, tech level, and capacity. Series also have a capacity modifier but I don't include that percentile since you can easily see the actual capacity of the ship in the search results.
